2nd Year- eAlim 2026/2027 (First Semester)

The second year focuses on strengthening and expanding the foundation built in Year One. Students engage with more advanced and complex concepts, with a greater emphasis on practical application. The subjects remain similar, but the books and depth of study progress significantly. Programme Structure: Fiqh — The rulings of ʿIbādāt (acts of worship) and Muʿāmalāt (mutual dealings). Nahw — Advanced Arabic Grammar. Sarf — Advanced Arabic Morphology. Arabic Comprehension — Applying grammar and morphology to more complex texts. Seerah & Islamic History — Completion of the life of the Prophet ﷺ and an introduction to the history of the four Rightly Guided Caliphs. Hadith — A more advanced yet concise collection of prophetic narrations with explanation and commentary. Principles of Fiqh — A foundational introduction to the principles used to derive Islamic rulings. Qur’anic Sciences — Translation and brief commentary of select sūrahs.
